We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Annan, Dumfries and Galloway. This permanent, 39‑hour full‑time position offers a variety of shifts, 5 days per week. Full‑time roles require flexibility throughout the week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits:
- Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.61, ensuring a minimum of 39 hours and a weekly pay of at least £530.

Responsibilities:
- Support the manager as part of the management team and lead the shop to operate efficiently.
- Run the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed in a safe, clean and tidy environment.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
- Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
- A “people person” who builds strong working relationships.
- Trustworthy and reliable – a small team relies on you to perform at your best.
- Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is a plus.
- Willingness to complete an Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS / Disclosure Scotland check if successful.
