About the Role
Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park is a friendly, family-focused children’s farm attraction dedicated to creating memorable days out for our visitors. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Part-Time Front of House Team Member to join our café team. This is a varied, fast-paced role which is hands-on where you will be the face of our food and drink service, helping create a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable environment for families visiting the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving hot drinks including tea, coffee, and other beverages
- Serving cakes, snacks, and refreshments to customers
- Serving hot food from our counter safely and efficiently
- Clearing customer tables promptly and maintaining a tidy dining area
- Assisting with washing up and keeping kitchen areas clean and organised
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout front of house areas
- Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Providing friendly, helpful, and professional customer service at all times
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Confidence when dealing with customers in a busy environment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude
- Previous café, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Working Hours
- One day each weekend
- Shifts between 9:30am and 5:00pm, depending on the time of year
- Additional hours available during school holidays
- Flexibility to provide holiday and sickness cover when required
