At Farmer Copleys we celebrate and showcase everything that is great about British food and farming. We have a successful award-winning farm shop, a busy café (MOO), an on-site bakery, a Gelato parlour and we host a range of functions including weddings, funerals, baby showers and corporate events. Moo Café opens seven days a week and offers a delicious seasonal menu and daily specials. We promote the very best of Yorkshire with the meat being sourced from our award winning on-site butchery.
We are now looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy team.
Main responsibilities:
- To ensure that working areas, working utensils such as carving boards, blenders, cutters, pots and pans etc are cleaned and sanitised as per company hygiene standards
- To soak, prewash and wash all food and beverage operating equipment
- To distribute clean equipment to assigned shelving
- To clean and mop the kitchen floor when required
- To change rubbish bag and ensure rubbish is disposed of in the appropriate manner
- To clean any food and beverage back of house areas
- To be responsible for the correct use of detergents and chemicals
- Help receive deliveries and store food items accordingly
- To support chefs with basic food prep
- To ensure deep clean and basic cleaning jobs are completed to standard
