Farmer Copleys is an award-winning Farm Shop, Café & Restaurant based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. On the farm, we produce our own lamb and beef and grow pumpkins, strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, raspberries, blackberries, liquorice, and our hens lay our eggs. Everything is available in our farm shop, and the shop supplies the delicious ingredients for our Moo Café.
We have a skilled and talented team of butchers, bakers, and chefs to make and prepare our range of products and menus which are available in the café and restaurant where we offer tasty food during the day and offer private functions too.
The Role/Candidate Requirements:
- We are looking for an experienced BAKER to join our small crew.
- A baker who has a real passion for traditional bakery products and who has a genuine interest and pride in their craft.
- Experience of working in a commercial or retail bakery environment and with savoury pastry expertise is ideal.
- A passion for baking is a must, along with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivation, and willingness to learn our own tried & tested recipes and hopefully create new ones.
- This full-time role over five days a week has early starts, but we don’t mean the middle of the night!
- Weekends off are on a rotational basis, and we also offer generous team benefits.
