That’s the impact you’ll make as a Coffee Brewing Equipment Service Engineer with Farmer Brothers’ Revive Service & Restoration team.

Our mission

We install, restore, and maintain commercial coffee and tea equipment so our customers deliver consistently great beverages.

You’ll be a trusted field engineer for a defined customer base—owning installs, removals, maintenance, and urgent repairs.

  • How you’ll contribute
  • Execute end-to-end equipment lifecycle work: installations, removals, repairs, surveys, and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an after-hours/weekend on-call rotation.
  • Maintain accurate van stock: manage spare parts levels and reorder within replenishment rules.
  • Complete thorough documentation—call closure, time and labor details, invoice accuracy, and customer signatures.
  • Coordinate with the team to plan, schedule, and deliver installation projects on time.
  • Communicate clearly with customers; relay field insights and requests to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Honor service level agreements and prioritize work to meet program expectations.
  • Schedule, travel, and physical needs
  • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a. m.–4:00 p. m.
  • On-call coverage required, including weekends.
  • Primary territory within a 100-mile radius; occasional regional travel as business requires.
  • Lift up to 60 lbs frequently and work safely in customer environments.

Experience and capabilities

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical/technical field experience.
  • Preferred: foodservice industry experience.
  • Preferred: electrical, plumbing, HVAC background and proficiency with test/tech meters.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to travel 100+ miles from the branch.
  • Advanced troubleshooting: mechanical and electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, installation, wiring, and repairs.
  • Comfort balancing scheduled PMs with unscheduled emergencies, surveys, and installs.
