As we scale, we are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help build reliable, scalable software that powers smarter decisions in agriculture.
Role Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end product features across our platform, working across the stack with React & Typescript (frontend), Go & Python (backend), and deploying on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will contribute to architectural decisions, and help scale a data-intensive, high-impact product.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain web applications and APIs using Go and Python
- Design scalable backend systems to process data from various integrations.
- Lead technical decisions and contribute to software architecture planning
- Build secure, high-performance cloud-native services (preferably on GCP)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps initiatives
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to deliver business-critical features
- Help shape engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full stack development experience in production environments
- Advanced proficiency in React, Typescript, Go or Python
- Deep understanding of API design (REST, SOAP)
- Experience working with cloud platforms – GCP strongly preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable
- Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, Firestore, MongoDB, BigQuery, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience scaling distributed systems or data platforms
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or strong interest in agriculture, environmental tech, or sustainability
- Prior experience at an early-stage or scaling startup
£40k – £55k+ based on experience
