Part Time - 25hrs/week (4 days/week). 7AM START! Join the Farm Girl family at our latest venue located in Paddington station. Farm Girl is a group of vibrant London cafés known for our fresh, health‑conscious dishes, Australian‑inspired coffee, and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Professional Approach: Maintain an enthusiastic, engaged, and passionate attitude toward food and service. Thrive under pressure while setting a high standard of professionalism, quality, and efficiency.
- Training & Development: Preparation and plating of all menu items. Full understanding of ingredients and dishes. Food hygiene standards and health & safety protocols.
- Teamwork & Communication: Foster a collaborative and communicative work environment, emphasizing teamwork and mutual respect.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Food Presentation: Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and consistently, reflecting Farm Girl's dynamic and vibrant style.
- Stock Management: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and General Manager to ensure sufficient stock levels daily. Monitor and manage wastage and stock rotation efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all kitchen equipment, reporting and addressing any issues promptly.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Understand and uphold current health and safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Skilled in prepping meat from scratch.
- Excellent cooking skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on both cold and hot sections of the kitchen.
