Thrift Farm Day Nursery is part of the Farm Day Nurseries Group. We are currently looking for Early Years Assistants to join our team at our new 96 place nursery building, which is now open. Our nursery offers a warm, nurturing environment where passionate educators help children thrive through nature-based learning.

Our ethos focuses on outdoor learning, natural materials, and a child-led learning approach, providing unique experiences for the children in our care. We have two roles available, both working all year round, with the following hours:

  • 7:30am-3pm, Monday to Friday
  • 11am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday

Your role will involve assisting in serving meals, helping to feed children where necessary, cleaning, tidying away, and providing general support to colleagues.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal records bureau disclosure
  • Previous professional childcare experience in a Day Nursery, School, or other setting
  • A passion for working with children
  • Due to our rural location, you will need to drive and have your own transport
