We are seeking a dedicated and experienced childcare Manager to oversee Wrap Around Care services based in Drayton/Cosham, Portsmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating after‑school activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Wrap Around Care team to deliver high‑quality childcare services in accordance with organisational policies and standards.
  • Plan, organise, and oversee daily activities, ensuring they are fun, educational, and suitable for children of various ages.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and conducting regular risk assessments.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community atmosphere.
  • Coordinate with schools in Drayton and Cosham to ensure smooth transition of children between school and care settings.
  • Manage administrative tasks including attendance records, activity planning, and communication with parents.
  • Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans when necessary.

Qualifications
  • Qualified in childcare, teaching or similar roles within a childcare setting.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
