Starting September 2026. Full time or part time (0.8FTE). This is an exciting new role being created to support the expansion of our Design Technology Department in offering Food and Nutrition as a GCSE from September 2026. We are therefore seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food Nutrition and Design Technology able to potentially teach Food and Nutrition alongside Design Technology up to and including GCSE.
The successful candidate must match the high standards expected of both staff and students in planning for and delivering consistently high standards of teaching. You will be fully conversant with all health and safety requirements relating to the delivery of a practical subject, and be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school. The role will initially be offered as a one-year contract with the potential to become permanent from September 2027. You will be joining a well-supported and vibrant department and will have an opportunity to help shape our GCSE Food curriculum.

Farlington is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 4 to 18, and is set in 33 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside. The school enjoys a strong reputation for its academic excellence and welcoming community. Class sizes are no more than 20.
