The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are ideally looking for applicants who will be able to work 30 hours per week. However, we would consider requests to work either 18 or 24 hours. Please state the number of hours and days that you are able to work in your supporting statement which is part of the application form.

Responsibilities

We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to join our vibrant and driven Learning Support Team. Much of the work will involve support within mainstream classrooms with some requirements to work with students on an individual or small group basis to develop literacy and numeracy, and for some of the time with students with complex physical needs who require one-to-one support. An ability to empathise with students who have difficulties with communication and social skills is essential.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a good standard of education, initiative and an ability to communicate well with both teaching staff and students. GCSE Level 4 (Grade C) or equivalent in Maths and English is essential and A Levels, or equivalent are desirable. Experience of working in a classroom environment is also desirable.
