The role involves working as part of a specialist team with extensive expertise in all areas of private family law. Our lawyers are all members of Resolution and committed to constructive, holistic problem‑solving, making full use of non‑court dispute resolution methods wherever suitable, while also handling court proceedings when required. You will take on a varied and high‑quality caseload of private family matters, working with clients who value our clear, pragmatic and commercially aware approach. Alongside your technical expertise, you will play a key role in helping drive the continued growth and profile of our Family Team in Salisbury. This role offers the autonomy to develop your practice, the support to progress your career, and the platform of a recognised regional firm with national‑level capability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Exposure to high‑quality, complex work from day one
- Managing a busy caseload including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and cohabitation disputes
- Providing strategic and commercially focused advice tailored to each client’s circumstances
- Working closely with the wider Family Team and partners to grow our offering in Salisbury
- Actively contributing to business development initiatives and nurturing long‑term client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
- Collaborating across departments to deliver a seamless client experience
About you:
- 5PQE + in private family law
- A track record of handling complex matters with confidence
- Strong client‑relationship skills and an ability to build trust quickly
