We are currently seeking a motivated and talented HR Advisor to join our team for twelve months. The role is based from our East Lancs office just off the M65 in Padiham, near Burnley, with some requirement to visit other offices to support the expanding People & Culture provision (you will need to have your own transport).
The Person / Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive HR service to the firm, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance and HR administration.
- Run with and own projects, influence stakeholders, and offer advice where needed.
- Advising on the appropriate handling and successful resolution of disciplinary, grievance, and dismissal hearings and appeals, plus other ER matters e.g. absence and flexible working applications.
- Support the firm in applying employment legislation, principles and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Around three years of generalist HR experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, principles and procedures.
- Ability to solve problems and make evidence-based decisions with a people-centered approach to provide a high-quality service.
