Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve, and we are looking for a highly motivated Homeware Store Manager to join our retail team. This role will provide support and lead the retail team, maximising shop profits, driving the store forward and developing creative displays and an all-round shopping experience for the benefit of Farleigh Hospice.

You will be:

  • Someone who can work on their own and as part of a team
  • Driven by sales targets and the challenge of exceeding them
  • Interested in merchandising items to drive sales
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Physically able to undertake manual handling tasks such as moving stock/furniture

You will have:

  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Previous retail experience required
