Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve, and we are looking for a highly motivated Education Practitioner to join our Education team.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and experienced clinician to join Farleigh Hospice, with a key role in supporting the Hospice Education Collaborative, a partnership of three adult hospices working across Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE) to develop and strengthen the specialist palliative and end-of-life care workforce.
Based primarily at Farleigh Hospice, you will help design, develop and deliver high-quality education and training programmes for hospice staff, health and social care professionals, and external partners across the Integrated Care System. Working closely with colleagues across the collaborative, you will help shape innovative learning opportunities, support workforce development initiatives and 'grow your own' career pathways, and promote excellence in palliative and end-of-life care through evidence-based practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic clinician who enjoys working collaboratively across organisations to improve knowledge, skills and patient care, while contributing to the strategic ambitions of both Farleigh Hospice and the wider Hospice Education Collaborative.
Qualifications
Farleigh Hospice operates a six-month probation period. Positions may be subject to DBS Disclosure. Charity Registration No: 284670
