As a Junior Sous Chef, you will maintain service standards at Bistro Enkel whilst supporting senior chefs in an award-winning kitchen environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily service standards and menu delivery at Bistro Enkel, with assistance provided to breakfast preparation and Cedar Tree operations as required
- Manage all kitchen sections, demonstrating understanding of food temperatures, textures, seasonality, and organisation
- Support senior chefs in the induction and training of junior kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and allergen protocols (14 main allergens)
- Maintain stock rotation procedures and a clean working environment throughout service
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the kitchen team
Saturday to Wednesday, 45 hours per week.
Desirable: Experience in AA rosette restaurants.
