We're looking for a proactive, people-first People & Talent Advisor to join our HR team based at Alderley Park (3/4 days onsite a week).

You'll work closely with our Senior HR Business Partners, providing hands‑on advisory support across the employee lifecycle, while also acting as the friendly, go‑to face of HR in the office day‑to‑day.

This is a varied and global role - part HR generalist, part hiring support, part office community-builder.

You'll get exposure to a broad range of complex HR work while helping keep the office running smoothly for everyone in it.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • HR Advisory & Employee Lifecycle
  • Support the Senior HR Business Partners with day-to-day HR advisory queries from managers and employees
  • Manage end-to-end employment administration: contracts, offer letters, changes to terms, references, and other employment paperwork
  • Take ownership for payroll processing alongside our dedicated payroll provider
  • Own onboarding from offer acceptance through to first weeks - right to work checks, contracts, DBS checks, new starter setup, and a great first impression
  • Manage offboarding, including exit paperwork, leaver checklists, and exit interviews where needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems
  • Help ensure HR processes are compliant, consistent, and well‑documented
  • System and process improvements within our HR Systems
  • Hiring Support
  • Help draft and post job adverts, and support shortlisting where needed
  • Ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience from application to offer
  • Manage DEEL (EOR's) System
  • Office & Team Support
  • Be the first point of contact in the office for people‑related questions, big or small
  • Take ownership of light office management - organising lunches, keeping snacks and drinks stocked, and generally helping the office feel like a good place to be
  • Help organise or support internal events, socials, and team moments
  • Spot ways to improve the day‑to‑day office and employee experience, and help make them happen

What We're Looking For

  • Some experience in an HR, People, or Talent support role looking for their next challenge (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, People Advisor, or similar)
  • Experience with Hi Bob is preferred
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Highly organised, with good attention to detail - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
  • A genuinely warm, approachable manner - you're happy being the person people come to
  • Confident juggling multiple priorities, from formal paperwork to last‑minute lunch orders
  • Good working knowledge of core UK employment practices (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • A proactive, "no job too small" attitude
  • DISCRIMINATION DECLARATION

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, colour, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality or sex.

Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted due to a high volume of applicants.

  • What You'll Get
  • The chance to build broad HR generalist experience alongside experienced HR Business Partners
  • A varied, people‑facing role at the heart of the office
  • A range of benefits: 25 days holiday, medical cover, company pension plan, wellbeing allowance, cycle to work scheme, car scheme.... and much more!
