ROLE
The Workforce Planning Analyst will play a key role in shaping workforce strategy by owning demand and capacity planning for key operational areas. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, and Leadership to translate complex data and forecasts into clear, actionable workforce plans that drive efficiency and support business growth. You will drive forecasting and planning analyses, influence decisionāmaking through actionable insights, and support the continuous improvement of workforce planning processes and tools.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain endātoāend workforce demand and capacity forecasts using established models and tools.
- Analyse historical and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform and support workforce planning decisions.
- Translate forecasts and capacity plans into clear recommendations for operational and financial stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted partner to Operations and Finance leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and scenario analyses to support strategic and tactical decisions.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and capacity assumptions, supporting continuous improvement of planning processes.
- Partner with the Forecast & Planning team to evolve internal tools and planning solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and scale with growth.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders and leadership.
- Support operational teams with scenario planning and whatāif analyses to enable informed decisionāmaking.
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong skills in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards); experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Proficient with SQL/BigQuery, to pull and validate operational data.
- Strong presentation and communication skills: ability to create clear and actionable reports and presentations for multiple stakeholders, from low to senior level.
- Strong ability to understand business priorities, distinguish urgent vs. important tasks, and communicate effectively with senior leadership to influence decisions.
- Comfortable working with statistical or capacity planning models, scenario analysis, and forecasting methodologies.
- Python/R basic knowledge or experience is a strong plus.
- Workforce Management / CRM tools: handsāon experience with Calabrio, NICE, Genesys, or similar workforce management platforms is a plus.
