The PPC Analyst is responsible for the daily maintenance and optimization of PPC/SEM advertising campaigns, with a specific focus on reporting, measurement and campaign improvements. This role involves executing testing plans, conducting experiments under the guidance of leadership, and processing data to support data-driven insights. The ideal candidate possesses an analytical mindset, a solid understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to organize data to help refine PPC performance.

What You'll Do

  • Implement testing tasks to optimize PPC campaign performance, including ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding adjustments based on defined strategies.
  • Assist in the setup of A/B tests and other experimental methodologies to measure the impact of changes on key performance metrics.
  • Monitor active tests and campaigns, compile results, and provide data summaries to help inform future optimization recommendations.
  • Maintain detailed records of testing processes and results to ensure consistency and facilitate team knowledge sharing.
  • Identify and suggest areas for automation within daily testing workflows to improve team efficiency.
  • Conduct analysis on campaign datasets to extract trends and insights for optimization.
  • Utilize and update custom scripts to automate data analysis and improve the speed of reporting.
  • Help maintain custom tools and dashboards used for PPC campaign management and performance analysis.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or data analytics.
  • Solid foundational skills in data analysis tools like Excel, Looker, Tableau and data visualization.
  • Experience with Google Ads.
  • Experience organizing data sets and providing clear summaries to support PPC campaign optimization.
  • Ability to track performance metrics and follow A/B testing protocols to provide data-backed suggestions.
  • Understanding of the statistical methods required to analyze marketing data accurately.
  • Familiarity with SQL/BigQuery is desired, and Python is a plus.
