THE ROLE

Based at our iconic Browns Boutique in Mayfair, we are looking for an enthusiastic and fashion passionate Junior Personal Shopper to join our Personal Shopping team. This is a boutique based, client facing role, ideal for someone who loves luxury fashion, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in an in person retail environment. As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional first impression by warmly welcoming guests into the boutique, introducing them to the Browns experience, and delivering an elevated, personalised service that inspires both immediate purchases and long term loyalty. While your primary focus will be delivering an exceptional boutique experience, you will also support Browns' omnichannel approach by engaging clients beyond the boutique through personalised digital communication. Working alongside our Personal Shopping team, you will build relationships with new and existing clients, share tailored styling recommendations, new arrivals, and exclusive launches, helping to create a seamless luxury experience across both in store and digital touchpoints. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your luxury retail expertise while building your own client portfolio over time.

What You'll Do

  • Boutique Welcome: Be the welcoming face of Browns, greeting clients as they arrive and ensuring every customer receives a warm, personalised, and luxury experience from the moment they enter the boutique.
  • Shop Floor Selling: Engage confidently with walk in clients, understand their needs, provide styling advice, and deliver exceptional service that drives immediate sales while creating long term relationships.
  • Support Personal Shopping: Work closely with the Personal Shopping team to deliver an outstanding client journey, assisting with appointments, product preparation, fulfilment, and aftercare.
  • Client Development: Begin building your own client book by nurturing relationships through thoughtful follow ups, styling recommendations, and personalised communication.
  • Digital Outreach: Share new arrivals, exclusive launches, and curated product selections with clients using digital communication tools and CRM platforms.
  • Personalised Styling: Create tailored product edits and lookbooks that reflect individual client preferences and encourage repeat engagement.
  • Boutique Operations: Support daily opening and closing procedures, maintain exceptional shop floor standards, replenish displays, and ensure the boutique always reflects Browns' luxury positioning.
  • Systems & CRM: Accurately manage client information using CRM and retail systems including D365, Shopify, and Canva to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Client Development Manager, Personal Shoppers, and the wider boutique team to support events, activations, and commercial objectives.
  • Events: Support the delivery of exclusive client events, designer trunk shows, and in boutique activations by assisting with client hosting, appointment management, and event preparation.
  • Adaptability: Embrace new responsibilities and support the evolving needs of the Personal Shopping team and boutique.

Who You Are

  • Passionate About Luxury: You have experience within luxury retail and a genuine passion for fashion, designers, accessories, and fine jewellery.
  • Natural Host: You enjoy meeting new people and are confident in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every client.
  • Customer Focused: You are passionate about delivering exceptional service and understand the importance of building lasting client relationships.
  • Commercially Minded: You enjoy selling, are motivated by achieving results, and proactively seek opportunities to grow your business.
  • Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and supporting the wider Personal Shopping team to achieve shared goals.
  • Organised & Detail Oriented: You can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering consistently high standards.
  • Technically Confident: You are comfortable using CRM systems, retail technology, and digital tools to support client engagement.
  • Flexible & Adaptable: You thrive in a fast paced luxury environment and are available to work weekends and peak trading periods.
