We are seeking a strategic and commercially‐minded leader to drive FARFETCH's global pricing strategy and optimize margin structures across diverse regions and product categories. As the Head of Commercial‐Revenue Management, you will own net revenue and marketplace margin contribution, with direct accountability for how commercial decisions impact the P&L. Acting as the critical bridge between technical product teams and our network of over 1,300 luxury brands and boutique partners, you will balance partner profitability with FARFETCH's growth targets while spearheading the rollout of advanced pricing tools and analytics. The ideal candidate will evaluate commercial incentives to unlock supply, collaborate with Product and Engineering to deploy next‐generation marketplace features, and lead a high‐performing team to support our overarching strategic objectives.
What You'll Do
- Develop commercial pricing strategy and associated communications to luxury brand and boutique partners
- Enhance FARFETCH's competitive pricing advantage and optimise our margin structure across regions and product categories
- Own and drive net revenue and margin contribution across the marketplace, with accountability for how commercial decisions flow through to the P&L
- Act as the bridge between technical and partner‐facing teams, balancing partner margin with Farfetch profitability targets and driving the roll‐out of new tools, reporting and processes into our network of 1300+ partners
- Evaluate commercial incentives and partner investments to unlock supply and improve price competitiveness
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to set requirements for new pricing features, oversee deployment and test impact on performance and marketplace dynamics
- Manage a team of five high performing Analysts through Managers, setting stretching objectives and development plans
- Support strategic company objectives and projects as required
Who You Are
- Deep understanding of marketplace financial and partner dynamics, including exposure to P&L ownership
- Highly numerate with strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience in retail or marketplace pricing, prior luxury role beneficial but not strictly required
- Confident working with large volumes of data with tools like SQL and Python, as well as experience building with AI
- Seasoned manager who has built and led an analytical team
- Exceptional communicator, comfortable presenting to Executive‐level stakeholders internally and externally
- Able to operate effectively across a broad range of stakeholders
