About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Information Governance and Complaints Support Officer to join our busy team. This role involves supporting the Council’s responsibilities under Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), data protection legislation and Codes of Complaint handling.

You will assist with research, data analysis, and project work, as well as provide administrative support for FOI, EIR, and data protection requests and complaints. You’ll also help monitor statutory deadlines, collate performance data, and ensure high standards of accuracy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.

About You

You should have a keen interest in information governance and a willingness to learn.
