The vacancy
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated Campus Estates Operative to work part time (17 hours per week) evenings and weekends on a rostered basis. The pro rata salary would be between £11,061.27 to £11,374.38 per annum.

Duties:
- This position involves shift work across all South Hampshire College Group sites, providing high standards of customer service in a general caretaking capacity to staff, students, and visitors.
- It is a part-time role; shifts vary per campus, including early and late shifts, and weekends as required on a rostered basis.
- Assist the Estates and H&S managers/Supervisors in delivering effective facilities and maintenance services across college campuses.
- Provide administrative support to the Estates department.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff, students, customers, and visitors.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience in general DIY
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above
- Current driving licence Cat B
- Current driving licence Cat D
Ideal Attributes:
- Ability to be tactful and handle confrontation
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible and proactive attitude towards work
