This is a contract-based consultancy role for a Consultant Property Solicitor, offering a hybrid working arrangement with access to our Surrey office. The successful candidate will manage a varied residential property caseload, including:
- Client consultations and onboarding
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documentation
- Managing conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
- Ensuring compliance with property and real estate regulations
- Liaising with estate agents, brokers, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Providing clear, commercial, and practical legal advice to clients
We are particularly interested in candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, who are confident in building and nurturing relationships with estate agents and other referrers to generate new opportunities. This role is offered on a consultancy basis, with the potential to become a permanent position in the future, depending on collaboration and mutual fit.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Property Solicitor
- Strong experience in Property Law, including managing transactions and drafting contracts
- Excellent communication, client consultation, and relationship management skills
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate
- Experience working in a consultancy model is a plus
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote work
