Faraday Recruitment Limited is partnering with a fast-scaling, profitable B2B SaaS company to find a Full Stack Engineer with strong frontend skills to join as a key early hire. Our client specialises in price optimisation software for retail banks, enabling data-driven pricing decisions that deliver millions in additional revenue. With a growing client base in the UK and Ireland, and a strong pipeline for the coming year, this is a unique opportunity to shape the next version of their pricing intelligence platform in a bootstrapped, high-growth environment.

The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and evolving their cloud-based B2B SaaS product. This is a hands-on role with a frontend focus, but you’ll work across the stack—developing dashboard-heavy user experiences, API integrations, backend services, and cloud deployments. Their live application is already in use by clients, who access secure dashboards, analysis tools, and pricing outputs for mortgage and deposit portfolios. You’ll maintain and improve the existing platform while helping to design and build the next generation of their product. You’ll collaborate closely with their data science team, turning analytical models and pricing outputs into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly software. If you enjoy bridging the gap between data science and real-world applications, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the live client-facing web application.
  • Design and implement new features, such as dashboard interfaces, pricing frontiers, and interactive reports for exploring pricing outputs, portfolio performance, and recommendations.
  • Build and integrate APIs and backend services to connect data and model outputs with the frontend.
  • Improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of the application.
  • Optimise cloud deployment processes, environments, monitoring, and release workflows (primarily Azure).
  • Contribute to frontend architecture, backend patterns, component libraries, API standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Influence architectural and product decisions as the platform scales into new clients, markets, and product areas, including prototyping new pricing tools.
  • Help design and build the next version of the platform.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional software/front-end engineering experience.
  • Experience building data-intensive, secure web applications, ideally in financial services or price optimisation software.
  • Technical expertise:
    • Modern frontend frameworks (React or similar) and legacy frameworks (jQuery).
    • HTML, CSS, TypeScript.
    • Data visualisation libraries (e.g., Chart.js).
    • Backend integration: APIs, MySQL, PHP, Python.
    • Cloud-based applications (ideally Azure).
  • Product mindset: You care about reliability, intuitiveness, and maintainability, not just functionality.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and clients.
  • Self-starter attitude: You enjoy solving open-ended problems and building in an early-stage environment.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary, reflecting your experience and impact.
  • Profit share scheme with the potential to own a stake in the business.
  • Equity options with significant upside in case of acquisition.
  • Flexible working hours and a supportive, outcomes-focused culture.
  • "Work anywhere" policy for up to two months per year.
  • Opportunity to shape the next version of a live SaaS product already used by clients.
  • Meaningful influence over engineering, product architecture, frontend experience, and cloud delivery.
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing by one day per year after two years’ service (up to 30 days).

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Hybrid working: Must be willing to work in London 2+ days per week and travel to clients occasionally.
