About the role

We are seeking experienced Production Managers to oversee the technical delivery of a number of high-profile concerts and festivals across the UK. Experience within the music sector is absolutely essential (music, concerts, and festivals).

Responsibilities

  1. Advances all technical talent requirements.
  2. Clear understanding of the technical rider: lighting, stage, audio, backline, etc.
  3. Sourcing & negotiating technical equipment in line with talent requirements from local suppliers following robust procurement guidelines.
  4. Logistics of technical equipment to event locations, including shipping & handling.
  5. Creation & management of production schedule.
  6. Provision of all technical & stage staffing: Audio, Lighting, Backline, Set Carpenter, crew, etc.
  7. Onsite management & coordination of all talent & event technical suppliers.
  8. Stage management & show coordination in communication with the Project Manager and Talent Liaison team.
  9. Liaison with venue operations regarding in-house technical production elements, scheduling, and sound checks (if show taking place in a venue).
  10. Management of Tech Production budget in line with requirements and contractual obligations and provides updates to Project Manager/Project Accountant.
  11. All advance work should be completed to a high standard and in line with Far and Beyond’s brand guidelines, utilising templates, logos, and company fonts across all documentation.

About you

  1. Extensive experience of producing major events in music, festivals, and concerts from a tech production perspective.
  2. First-hand experience of advancing production.
  3. Experience in scoping out and planning multiple projects at once.
  4. Experience in managing production budgets.
  5. Experience in dealing with and building supplier relations.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of client management and fostering a collaborative environment.
  7. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, exhibiting resilience and adaptability to changing project demands.
  8. You will act as a role model for Far and Beyond’s values and will work with the team to ensure these are embedded into everything we do.
  9. Experience collaborating with diverse teams or departments, demonstrating an ability to navigate and integrate perspectives from various stakeholders and clients.
  10. Proven ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to challenges, enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Eagerness for ongoing learning and skill development, reflecting a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
  12. Willingness to travel abroad for work, and spend periods of time away from home to manage projects.
  13. Familiarity or proficiency with software/tools relevant to Far and Beyond: Google Workspace, Slack, Whatsapp, etc. is desirable.
