Product engineering at Fanvue is about ownership and impact. This role exists to build high-quality, end-to-end product experiences that directly improve creator earnings, fan engagement, and platform reliability.
The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Engineer to own and ship features across Fanvue’s core product surfaces. You’ll work end to end across frontend, backend, and data, partnering closely with Product and Design to turn ideas into shipped, measurable outcomes. This is a role for an engineer who enjoys building user-facing products, owning systems in production, and balancing speed with quality.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end product features from idea to production
- Own key user journeys and services, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
- Partner closely with Product and Design to scope, prioritise, and deliver work
- Use data and experimentation to inform decisions and iterate on features
- Write high-quality, well-tested code across frontend and backend systems
- Improve APIs, data models, and internal tooling that support product features
- Monitor production systems, debug issues, and drive root-cause fixes
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and code reviews
Who You Are
- Strong experience as a product-focused software engineer
- Comfortable working across frontend and backend systems
- Experience with modern web stacks such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational databases
- Product-minded, with a strong sense of user experience and business impact
- Comfortable owning production systems and being accountable for outcomes
- Data-aware and able to use metrics to guide decisions
- Clear communicator and collaborative teammate
- High ownership mindset and bias toward shipping
✨ You’ll Thrive Here If
- You enjoy owning features end to end
- You care about user experience as much as code quality
- You like shipping frequently and learning from real-world usage
- You’re comfortable making trade-offs to deliver impact
- You enjoy close collaboration with product and design
⚠️ You’ll Struggle Here If
- You prefer narrowly scoped technical tasks
- You avoid ownership of production systems
- You optimise for technical elegance over user impact
- You need heavy process to be effective
Why Join Fanvue?
- Build products used by millions of creators and fans
- Direct impact on creator earnings and platform growth
- Work closely with product, design, and leadership
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Unlimited holiday
