Checkout and payments are at the core of Fanvue’s revenue engine. This role exists to build fast, reliable, and scalable checkout and fintech experiences that directly impact creator earnings, fan conversion, and global revenue growth.
The RoleWe’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer to work on Fanvue’s checkout, payments, and fintech surfaces. This is a high-impact role focused on building and owning end-to-end payment flows, from frontend checkout experiences through to backend payment services, subscriptions, and payouts. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and other engineers to ship revenue-critical features quickly, while maintaining a high bar for reliability, security, and scalability.
What You’ll Do- Design, build, and ship end-to-end checkout and payment features across web and backend services
- Own frontend checkout flows that maximise conversion and minimise friction for fans
- Build and maintain backend services that handle subscriptions, messaging payments, and payouts
- Integrate with payment providers, manage retries, fallbacks, and edge cases
- Partner closely with Product and Design to experiment on monetisation and conversion improvements
- Ensure payment systems are reliable, observable, and safe in production
- Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI through to payment processing
- Use data and experimentation to guide product and technical decisions
- Strong full stack engineering experience, with depth in backend systems
- Comfortable working across frontend and backend codebases
- Experience with modern web stacks such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational databases
- Experience working on payments, billing, subscriptions, or fintech systems
- Confident owning production systems that directly impact revenue
- Strong understanding of performance, reliability, and observability
- Clear communicator who collaborates well across product, design, and engineering
- High ownership mindset and bias toward shipping
- You enjoy working on revenue-critical systems
- You care deeply about conversion, performance, and reliability
- You like owning features end to end rather than narrow components
- You’re comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-impact environments
- You enjoy working closely with product and design partners
- You prefer frontend-only or backend-only roles
- You’re uncomfortable owning production issues in critical systems
- You avoid ambiguity or fast iteration
- You rely on heavy process instead of clear ownership
- Build the checkout and fintech systems powering a $100M+ ARR platform
- Direct impact on creator earnings and company revenue
- Work on complex, real-world payment and monetisation problems
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Unlimited holiday
- Remote working
- Flexible hours, according to when you perform best
