About the Role
We’re not just looking for someone who can post regularly or manage a content calendar. We want a builder, leader, and creative brain who can lead content that drives growth. You’ll be responsible for our entire content ecosystem, from TikToks and IG Reels to paid ads and brand storytelling. You’ll concept, script, and lead the production of content that makes fans stop scrolling, creators sign up, and the internet take notice.
What You’ll Do
- Creative direction: Lead creative direction across Fanvue’s owned channels like IG, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.
- Trends: Concept viral, culture-led content formats that turn heads and convert.
- Campaign creation: Concept and lead production of short-form videos, creator campaigns, and performance creative. You’ll get the opportunity to work with some of our creators and our internal team to build out full campaigns.
- Copywriting: The ability to write compelling copy from social hooks to script lines to direct-response captions that can convert or tell engaging stories.
- Data: Use performance data to iterate and improve, always balancing creativity & brand storytelling with conversion principles.
- Content Strategy: Build and execute a content strategy that increases creator sign-ups, boosts fan engagement, and defines the “look and feel” of Fanvue to the world.
- UGC & Social Proof: Source UGC and social proof from our creator base to fuel campaigns.
- Brand Voice and Aesthetic: Help define the voice and aesthetic of Fanvue across platforms.
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of experience in content creation, creative strategy, or social media - ideally at a fast-moving startup, agency, or creator-led brand.
- You’re obsessed with internet culture, trends, and storytelling formats that work on TikTok, IG, X, and YouTube.
- You’re a strong writer, thinker, and visual storyteller with a creative POV and performance mindset.
- You understand direct response principles and how to build content that converts.
- You’ve managed content creators, freelancers, or editors before, and know how to bring ideas from brief to execution.
- You move fast, love trying new things, and thrive in a high-performance, high-ownership environment.
- Bonus: You’ve built or scaled a brand or account that got serious attention, such as hundreds of thousands of followers, or even millions.
