Here’s a superb opportunity for an individual looking to join the world’s number one in factory automation. We are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to take responsibility for Field Service on our Roboshot Products. You will be expected to:
- Attend customer sites in the UK & Ireland with overnight stays
- Be flexible with working hours in order to meet customer expectations
- Install injection moulding equipment at customer sites, ensuring correct setup and configuration in line with FANUC guidelines
- Provide remote and on-site technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues with injection moulding machines, auxiliary equipment and control systems
- Identify post-sales revenue opportunities across Service, Training and Spare Parts packages
- Carry out routine maintenance, including inspections, cleaning, adjustments and component replacement to maintain equipment reliability
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, coordinating with internal teams to source replacement parts and implement upgrades
- Deliver training to customer personnel covering operation, maintenance, and safety procedures for injection moulding equipment
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including service reports, parts usage and equipment history within internal systems
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements within customer moulding operations (subject to experience)
Profile
You must also be able to demonstrate the following skill set:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Knowledge
- Experience in a Machine Tool Field Service role
- Experience of FANUC Controls and EDM Wire Cut machines would be desirable, but full training will be given
- Good analytical & problem solving skills
- Effective verbal & listening communication skills

- Ideally you will have served an apprenticeship, have a BTEC, relevant City & Guilds or NVQ with a recognised qualification within the Engineering Industry and have post qualification practical experience

- Demonstrate high quality work ethic
- Hold a clean full driving license
