Core Responsibilities:

  • Management and Strategy: Manage and develop the spare parts team, ensuring performance and development. Align with business strategy and work on initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
  • Quoting & Customer Service: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely spare parts quotations for UK/IE customers via the ERP system. Ensure team provides exceptional customer support. Maintain and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Order Fulfilment: Oversee order processing of spare part and service-related orders, to meet SLAs for customers and internal teams via the ERP system. Coordinate with EU head office to ensure supply and availability of parts for UK/IE customer demand. Ensure fulfilment of complex order requirements from local or external warehouses.
  • Inventory Management & Logistics: Manage inventory performance and implement strategies to reduce obsolescence and cost optimisation of parts. Compliance with customs regulations and documentation management. Processing of customer returns & repairs. Manage MRP process for stock replenishment, including forecasting.
  • Performance & Financial Management: Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards for the team. Reporting of parts sales/orders performance data. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance, including proactive initiatives. Monitoring of SLAs and quality of communication.
  • General: Cross-functional collaboration with all departments. Manage communication from shared mailboxes and channels. Any other related duties, as required by the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics and such other duties within the scope of the job purpose and grading.

Your profile:

  • Experience: 5+ years in parts management or related supply chain role. Experience in team and performance management. Experience in quoting and customer service within a technical or industrial environment preferable.
  • Skills: Leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing a team. Excellent communication skills with a customer‑centric approach. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Good knowledge of Customs, regulations & compliance. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Education: University degree in Supply chain, Logistics or Business or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Additional Requirements: Support wider operational activities from time to time. Support or take a leading role in local or group-based projects and implementations. Support other subsidiaries lead projects. Occasionally travel to other sites. Candidates must possess a right‑to‑work document in the UK and should be located within a 45‑minute travel time from the office. The role is based in Coventry.
