Fanshawe Athletics and Recreation is currently recruiting for energetic and dedicated students to join our team for the Fall 2026 Term.
Important Details:
- Term: August–December 2026 (possibility of contract renewal for Winter 2027)
- Shifts: May include evenings and weekends
- Location: On-campus only (no hybrid work)
- Training: Full orientation and training will be provided
- Eligibility: Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student
- Previous customer service or manual labour experience would be an asset
The following vacancies are available:
- 1) Recreation Athletic Assistants: 15 - 40 vacancies (Approx. 24 hours per week) - Customer service, oversee Recreation activities and tournaments, maintain equipment inventory
- 2) Photographer: 1 - 5 vacancies (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Capture photos at Varsity and Recreation events, edit photos
- 3) Videographer: 1-5 vacancies (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Capture/edit/create video footage from Varsity and Recreation events
- 4) Promotions Assistant: 1 - 5 vacancies (Approx. 15-20 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Content creation for Fanshawe Athletics social media accounts, other duties related to promotions
- 5) Varsity Game Announcer: 1 - 5 vacancies (Approx. 5-10 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Announcer at home Varsity games/events
- 6) Graphic Designer: 1 - 3 vacancies (Approx. 24 hours per week) - Create/design content to be used for promoting Fanshawe Athletics
- 7) Varsity Trainer/Manager: 10 - 20 vacancies (Approx. 24 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Provide support to Varsity teams, assistance at practices/games, additional tasks assigned by Head Coach
- 8) Varsity Event Staff: 5 - 10 vacancies (Approx. 24 hours per week) - Responsible for setup/teardown of Varsity events and additional tasks related to facility maintenance
- 9) Minor Officials: 5- 10 vacancies (Approx. 10-15 hours per week, Sport Dependent) - Responsible for scorekeeping, time clock, shot clock and statistics for varsity games/events
