Job Description:
Fanshawe College is seeking interested and experienced Truck Driver Trainers to teach part-time in the Truck Driving programs for up to 24 hours per week.
Instructors are responsible for providing the leadership required for an effective learning environment for students. All instructors must have a current Signing Authority (SA) certificate and at least 3 years\’ Class A truck driving experience.
Hybrid Work : This position requires on-site presence and are not subject to hybrid work.
Please note: This position may require weekend and evening shifts.

Specific Qualifications:

Minimum post-secondary qualifications, college diploma

Possess a minimum 5-year recent driving history, with verifiable OTR tractor/trailer experience

An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements

Current SA certification

Valid Class A license with Z endorsement

Satisfactory Drivers Abstract (zero demerit points) and CVOR
