We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Yard Person to join our team based at Head Office, Moira.
Warehouse Yard Person
Job Ref No: FVS/WYP/07/25
The Role:
- Assist drivers with paperwork and safe unloading of goods;
- Help customers load goods safely and efficiently;
- Prepare and securely pack orders for transport;
- Check goods against delivery notes for accuracy;
- Unload and inspect deliveries; report issues;
- Maintain a clean and organised yard and warehouse;
- Follow stock handling procedures;
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment by following all relevant procedures.
The Person:
- A good basic education;
- Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team;
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accurate completion of paperwork;
- Understands the importance of safety, stock control, and process compliance;
- Product knowledge of agricultural goods and a forklift licence would be desirable, but training will be provided;
- Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or similar hands-on operational role would be desirable.
