Fane Valley Feeds is one of the largest feed companies in Northern Ireland with manufacturing facilities in Omagh and Newry. With one of the most modern animal feeds mills in Europe, Fane Valley Feeds is committed to producing the highest quality feeds for our customers. We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Advisor to take over an established sales volume covering County Down.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Advisor will be responsible for maximising existing business and developing new business within the sales area.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Possess sound knowledge of the NI agricultural industry;
  • Previous successful and relevant sales experience;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and adaptability skills;
  • Demonstrate problem solving and resilience;
  • Experience in Customer Support with emotional intelligence;
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and within a busy team;
  • Show attention to detail and able to prioritise a busy workload;
  • IT literacy including good working knowledge of MS packages;
  • Full Driving Licence.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Third level qualification in an agriculture related discipline;
  • Experience using CRM system and territory planning;
  • Possess a sound knowledge and experience of ruminant production and nutrition.
