The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor production processes to ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Identify and resolve production issues promptly to maintain optimal efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Train and mentor new team members, ensuring they understand safety protocols, hygiene standards, and production techniques.
  • Take ownership for achieving daily production targets, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring consistent product quality.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Despatch teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all departments.

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and product quality.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with other departments.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience implementing lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
  • Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues.
