The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing procurement of packaging materials and ingredients in line with forecasted demand;
  • Monitor high-value and critical materials closely to minimise risk of shortages or excess stock;
  • Ensure data accuracy across all systems, including stock levels, forecasts and supplier information;
  • Raise purchase orders, track deliveries and manage supplier lead times;
  • Assess forecasts in detail to understand true demand requirements;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align demand planning with production needs.

The Person:

  • A minimum of three years experience in procurement, supply planning or demand planning;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to include data analysis, formulas, forecasting and reporting;
  • Strong communication skills and experience of building and maintaining relationships with suppliers;
  • Experience sourcing raw materials, packaging or production supplies.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience of using an ERP system;
  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, or related field;
  • A working knowledge of packaging materials, industry standards and packaging compliance;
  • Ability to work with forecasts and translate data into practical purchasing actions.
