Fane Valley Feeds is one of the largest feed companies in Northern Ireland with manufacturing facilities in Omagh and Newry. With one of the most modern animal feeds mills in Europe, Fane Valley Feeds is committed to producing the highest quality feeds for our customers. We now have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Pullet Rearing business as a Planning and Production Co-Ordinator.
Planning
- Liaise with rearing farms, laying farm customers, nutritionists, technical teams, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure efficient operations and clear communication.
- Support high standards of flock performance, operational efficiency, and customer service through effective planning and coordination.
The Person:
- Previous experience in planning, logistics, or administration within a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and computerised planning or management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication skills and experience communicating effectively with customers, suppliers or other key stakeholders.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a busy team.
- Full UK Driving licence and willingness to travel to farms and production sites.
- Ideally have a degree or HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
- Preferably will have previous experience within the poultry or agriculture industry.
