The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
The Maintenance Technician will take responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of production across the site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all machines within the factory are checked and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations;
- Completion of all aspects of paperwork which includes daily tasks and service records;
- Completion of work-on-work pal maintenance package;
- Engage in the ethos of continuous improvement;
- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
The Person:
- A minimum of one years experience in a similar role;
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace;
- Working knowledge and understanding of Permit to Work;
- Be self-motivated and highly organised;
- Excellent communication skills.
Preference will be given to those with:
- Working in an environment with hot and cold-water systems, high pressure Steam systems and compressor Air systems;
- The ability to interpret technical drawings;
- Hold a valid forklift licence/a valid MEWP licence;
- Prior experience of working in the food industry.
