Summary of Role: Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver raw material / finished goods to meat plants and various locations in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland in a reliable courteous manner.
- Complete daily raw collection sheet, daily vehicle safety inspection sheet and required vehicle cleaning records.
- Keep all documentation in a presentable manner and return signed to office as required.
- Forklift driving as well as loading and unloading of lorries.
The Person:
- Full and current UK Driving Licence with HGV Class 1 Licence.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of driving artic lorries.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland and Ireland road network.
- Valid CPC Card.
Preference will be given to those with: Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
Hours of work are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday with variable start and finish times on a four-week rotation basis. The hours of work vary and can be from 9am - 9pm.
