The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

The Maintenance Technician will take responsibility for preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of production across the site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all machines within the factory are checked and maintained according to the manufacturer's recommendations;
  • Completion of all aspects of paperwork which includes daily tasks and service records;
  • Completion of work-on-work pal maintenance package;
  • Engage in the ethos of continuous improvement;
  • Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.

The Person:

  • A minimum of one years experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Permit to Work;
  • Be self-motivated and highly organised;
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preference will be given to those with:

  • Working in an environment with hot and cold-water systems, high pressure Steam systems and compressor Air systems;
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings;
  • Hold a valid forklift licence/a valid MEWP licence;
  • Prior experience of working in the food industry.
