Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounting tasks and routine finance function whilst supporting the Senior Management Team. The Role: Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts within reporting deadlines Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations within reporting deadlines Variance analysis versus budget and investigate/explain variances Preparation of KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis Assist with the preparation of monthly projections and annual budgets Responsibility for compliance (VAT & statutory returns) Provide holiday cover for AR and AP as required Assist development & implementation of Management Information Systems and financial IT systems Build good working relationships with others throughout the business and Group The Person: Part Qualified CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent, Qualified Accounting Technician (IATI) or QBE accountant Intermediate to advanced Excel ability; proficient in Word and MS Outlook Excellent administration skills, organised and able to prioritise workload Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills Work effectively within a small team Be able to interact and communicate with staff at all levels including senior management in a professional manner Preference will be given to candidates with: Experience of using an ERP system Advanced Excel skills Experience in analysing production variances In return all employees will have access to a Healthcare Plan (includes children up to the age of 18), Company Pension with Life Assurance and an active Health and Well Being programme.
