The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The Role:
- Implementation of relevant sections of BRC & Customer food quality standards to ensure all procedures are documented in line with standards and are audited regularly to ensure compliance.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe standard and complies with current legislation.
- Development and implementation of structured site preventative maintenance system for both mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain and update digital maintenance records on a computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Respond to Electrical and Mechanical planned & unplanned activities in a prompt manner.
- Support the development of the systems and procedures within the department to create a 'Lean' working environment.
The Person:
- Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong level of all round Electrical Engineering knowledge, with at least 3 years' experience gained within a Manufacturing environment.
- The ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical engineering drawings.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working in the food industry.
Hours of work are on a two week rotating pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.30pm
- Week 2: Monday to Friday 2.00pm-10.30pm
