The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

The Role

  • Implementation of relevant sections of BRC & Customer food quality standards to ensure all procedures are documented in line with standards and are audited regularly to ensure compliance;
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe standard and complies with current legislation;
  • Development and implementation of structured site preventative maintenance system for both mechanical and electrical systems and equipment;
  • Maintain and update digital maintenance records on a computerised Maintenance Management Systems;
  • Respond to Electrical and Mechanical planned & unplanned activities in a prompt manner;
  • Support the development of the systems and procedures within the department to create a "Lean" working environment.

The Person

  • Have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and work as part of a team;
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong level of all round Electrical Engineering knowledge, with at least 3 years' experience gained within a Manufacturing environment;
  • The ability to interpret Electrical and Mechanical engineering drawings.

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With Previous experience working in the food industry.

Hours

  • Hours of work are on a two week rotating pattern:
  • Week 1: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.30pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday 2.00pm-10.30pm.
