Responsible Gaming is a critical part of FanDuel Core Products & Experiences. We care about our customers and want to make sure they have an enjoyable and safe experience using our platform. Our team provides best-in-class self-service tools allowing customers to set and track their spending and playing limits. We’re employing cutting-edge technology to provide predictive insights into customer behaviour - helping us swiftly identify those potentially at risk. We work closely with industry regulators to ensure we meet our compliance requirements.
This role covers managing one of our Responsible Gaming teams, and you’ll be involved with all aspects of the SDLC from planning to production support as well as coaching, mentoring and assessing the performance of software engineers of varying levels. This role would suit new or existing managers with previous hands-on experience of software development in either Java or Python, and experience of working in a feature team where your contribution is measured by the impact of the features you deliver to our customers. You’ll be responsible for leading moderate-sized projects or features within a team. Stakeholder management skills and dealing with ambiguity are key.

- Experience managing teams across the full software development lifecycle, from planning to production support.
- Strong background in coaching, mentoring, and assessing the performance of software engineers at different levels.
- Hands-on development experience with development technologies such as Java or Python, and experience with cloud tech such as AWS.
- Experience of writing distributed highly scalable and available backend systems & APIs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate globally.
