The Position
We’re looking for a strong Product Manager to lead Geolocation at FanDuel. A core part of Trust and Safety, Geolocation touches every customer interaction, handles billions of transactions per year, and feeds important data to Fraud, Commercial and many other downstream partners. This role will need to understand product and customer needs, define product goals, and work closely with engineering, design, and stakeholders to bring solutions to market. A deeply technical, highly regulated space makes for a challenging environment, but one where the right person will thrive and make a huge difference to FanDuel’s future.
The Role
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap, informed by a deep understanding of customer needs, company strategy, industry trends and leadership input to ensure alignment & balance to business goals.
- Define product goals and success criteria, track, manage, and communicate performance and roadmap updates to stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Own the full geolocation stack; from the customer experience in our apps to the data objects in our Lakehouse.
- Partner closely with product counterparts, engineering, and stakeholders on feature prioritization, risk management, dependency resolution, and bringing solutions to market.
- Shape, inform, and drive execution of product initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and deliver ceremonies and workshops.
- Participate in and contribute to our communities of practice, sharing knowledge and expertise with other product people across the organization.
- Lead and motivate the team, provide feedback and coaching where applicable.
What we’re looking for in our next teammate:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a product manager or similar role required.
- Proven track record of delivering successful and innovative products.
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects while effectively balancing scope, resourcing, time, and quality.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables.
- Strong technical skills (data, APIs).
- Experience using AI to boost performance/speed of execution.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
