You’ll join a world-class team where you can learn from senior engineers and product experts while growing your career. You will grow your back-end skills (Java/Kotlin), with the opportunity to expand into full-stack development in the future. You will collaborate effectively with engineers and stakeholders, while actively seeking input and guidance from team members. You will experiment with new user experiences, iterate based on learnings, and adopt appropriate tools. You will translate ideas into clear code, written to be read as well as executed. You will develop systems and data models that learn and adapt to user preferences.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is welcomed, but we equally value professional software engineering experience, including that gained through career changes, coding bootcamps, and real-world team environments.
- Strong knowledge of higher level programming languages, specifically with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Around 1 year of experience building distributed, scalable, and highly available backend systems.
- Passionate about learning and leveling up, including an interest in full-stack development.
- Exploring and applying new technologies, including AI, to improve the efficiency and quality of the SDL.
- A fundamental understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Curiosity and ability to experiment, solve problems and test solutions.
