Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Purchasing Associate to play a key role in improving Topps’ overall cost and pricing activities. This position is expected to support all areas of purchasing including cost estimating/forecasting, analyzing vendor quotation, managing raw material inventory, and the PO and invoicing process.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost estimation analysis to Brand Managers and Finance based on historical cost and cost matrix established with vendors
- Maintain final manufacturing cost for all projects
- Provide RFQ process support and analysis to the Pre‑production and Production leadership teams
- Track spend by supplier and categories
- Manage raw material inventory to minimise wastage and maximise usage
- Work closely with the finance function to ensure accurate recording of all cost‑based information in the accounting records and forecasting process
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiencies by working with suppliers, comparing SKUs across suppliers, and recommending reconfigurations of product and packaging
Skills And Experience Required
- Bachelor or associate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other relevant degree required
- 4+ years of experience in planning, purchasing or financial analysis
- Experience with an ERP system preferred
- Hands‑on experience managing purchasing or forecasting in a previous role
- Strong team player with an analytical mindset and the ability to work independently
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Previous professional experience with printing industry or consumer goods is a plus
