Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally.

The role

You obsess over how Fanatics Casino looks. Every touchpoint a player meets us on: a campaign, a feature launch, email inbox, the app itself, should feel like it came from the same confident place. You'll help define the system that makes that true. You'll set and hold the visual standard, lead the design team day to day, and stay close enough to the work to shape it with your own hands. This is a hands-on, lead role with real conceptual craft in it.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead design across brand campaigns, feature launches, in-product and always-on marketing.
  • Protect and iterate the Casino visual identity and the design system behind it: type, colour, layout, imagery, iconography principles.
  • Direct and review the team's work, giving feedback that is specific enough to act on.
  • Work with Product Design and Brand to keep marketing and in-app experiences visually coherent.
  • Art-direct external partners: photographers, illustrators, motion studios and retouchers.
  • Present design work to senior leadership and explain the thinking behind it.
  • Make sure design actively supports responsible gaming: DISCLAIMERS that are genuinely legible, RG messaging that is easy to find, and complete clarity about odds, value and what an offer includes.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in design across brand and digital, with at least 2 owning a conceptual design function.
  • A portfolio that shows system thinking alongside standout individual pieces. We'd love to see the rules you wrote as well as the work they produced.
  • Expert-level Figma and strong Adobe Creative Suite. You can also art-direct motion and 3D convincingly.
  • The judgement to run several workstreams simultaneously.
  • A collaborative presence across marketing, product and commercial teams, and the confidence to hold a line gracefully.

Bonus points

  • iGaming, sportsbook, gaming or entertainment experience.
  • Experience scaling a design system across multiple markets or regulatory regimes.
  • Experience building an in-house studio from the ground up.

Your first 90 days

You’ll get to know every surface the brand lives on, evolve how it shows up and improve output and process quality at every touchpoint.
