We are seeking a Data Analyst II to join our growing Data organization and help set up our newly formed Revenue Analytics team. The role reports into the Analytics Manager and will focus on creating insight to drive the growth of the business, partnering closely with senior commercial stakeholders and their teams.
Supporting commercial stakeholders with high level Sportsbook & Casino strategy will be a top priority for this analyst, as well as providing ongoing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders in the Casino Business and become a key voice in driving commercial performance across Casino.
- Collaboration with other Analysts and Data Scientists to find solutions to business problems.
- Contribute to the development and iterative improvement of the automated promotions strategy for the Casino Business.
- Remain current on technology and trends in data analytics and the sports betting & gaming industry.
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience in an analytics role.
- Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong SQL proficiency.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience in solving complex commercial problems using advanced data analytics approaches, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts such as multivariate testing and outlier handling.
- Previous experience with a statistical programming language is a plus - e.g. R or Python.
- Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.
- Customer focused; highly outcome-oriented and data-driven; experienced in working in high-growth environments.
- Logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus.
